Located in a sub-basement venue on Bond St in Melbourne’s CBD, Maha pays homage to Middle Eastern hospitality, encompassing this through emphasis on its food, service and ambience. Maha's new and fresh approach to Middle Eastern cuisine has seen it win rave reviews and many awards.
Maha opened in February 2008. The brainchild of chef Shane Delia, Maha embraces his Maltese heritage melded with his wife Maha's Lebanese background, and has certainly taken the notion of Middle Eastern cooking to a new level.

“ My nannu Nenu is the beating drum in my heart that inspires me to be the chef, father and leader I need to be to inspire and lead my family both at home and at Maha.
His love and passion for life, family and the church is the cornerstone of the Delia family’s strength and no matter what may arise this passion unites us.
His lessons and teachings throughout my life grounded and focused me on what life is truly about, and I feel it is my duty to share these ideologies with the rest of the world.
Food is the quintessential common ground for people of all of denominations and I want to use this medium to share Nenu’s dream.”
